We’re happy to announce the availability of the latest version of Localscope – 4.5 with fixes for the Instagram and CitySearch service integrations and more. Localscope integrates with Instagram to fetch geo-tagged photo content from around your location and presents them to you in a unique view. However, due to a recent change in the Instagram API, users have been unable to explore places around them via Instagram. With v4.5 Localscope now officially integrates with the new Instagram API.

An inspiring afternoon with Tim Cook

18th May 2016 was an exhilarating day for me as I had the opportunity to meet with Apple CEO – Tim Cook, Apple COO – Jeff Williams and key members of the Apple Team. It was a privilege like no other. I am humbled that Tim Cook took some quality time out from his busy schedule in Mumbai to spend over an hour with me along with the founders of Urban Clap, Sweet Couch and Avaz.

We pour tremendous amount of love into our products and our design philosophies strongly align with Apple’s. It was encouraging to see Tim Cook genuinely excited and curious about Numerics and the unique use of Apple technology in our app. He was quite impressed with the vision, design and the data security model of Numerics.

Localscope updated for iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus, adds Uber integration

Today we are happy to release Localscope v4.3 optimized for the new larger screen devices; iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Since 2010, we have focused on enabling the most intuitive local search and discovery experience for our users with Localscope. Our large loyal fan base of users continue to appreciate it and come back to using the app regularly. With v4.3 we are excited to finally extend Localscope’s rich experience of discovering places to the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices. Users can now enjoy the same user experience on their larger screens with 3x images and improved rich icons. With native support Localscope is no longer zoomed in and is now able to display more place results on the bigger screen devices.
