When we launched Freeform Metrics in Numerics 9, we made tracking any metric as easy as taking notes. Today, we're making it even simpler by bringing the power of voice commands to your metrics through Apple Shortcuts integration.

Speak Your Metrics

Numerics 9.3 integrates seamlessly with Apple Shortcuts, letting you record metrics using simple voice commands. Think of it as your personal metric assistant, ready to capture numbers whenever and wherever you need.

Add new Recorders or log entries using natural language through Shortcuts. Walking through your store? Run your shortcut to "Record Daily Sales" or simply say "Hey Siri, log today's sales." Coming out of a client meeting? Say "Hey Siri, log satisfaction score" and speak the value. Whether you prefer typing in Shortcuts or using voice commands with Siri, your metrics are captured instantly, without even opening the app.

Two powerful Shortcuts actions make this possible:

1. Add Recorder Action: Create new Recorders in any of your Numerics dashboards with a voice command.

2. Add Recorder Entry Action: Log new entries to your existing Recorders using natural language, all through Shortcuts.

Tableau Cloud Insights

We're also introducing eight pre-designed metrics to bring your Tableau Cloud data directly into Numerics dashboards. Now you can mix voice-recorded metrics with your Tableau Cloud visualizations, all in one view.
