Previewing Widgets

Numerics allows you to add widgets to your dashboards in Preview mode, without having to connect an account. This makes planning and laying out your dashboard for approval from your team straightforward. You can later connect your account to track real-time metrics, replacing the sample data. You can also share these dashboards with preview widgets as templates, enabling others to follow the same metrics.

Adding a widget in Preview Mode

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to add a widget to your Numerics dashboard in Preview mode.

1. Choose an integrated service from the available list.

2. Browse or use the search function to find a widget that suits your requirements.

3. Skip the authentication and configuration steps to save the widget. This will place the widget on your dashboard in Preview mode, populated with sample data.

Next Steps

You can always connect your account later to replace the sample data with real data from the integrated service.

Sharing dashboards with Preview widgets

Sharing your dashboard with preview widgets as a template is easy. Simply use the standard sharing options available within the Numerics app. This can be found under the 'Share' button in the top right corner of your dashboard screen.

Click on the 'Share' button and choose 'Send Dashboard Template'. The recipients can then connect their own accounts to track the same metrics on their dashboards.
