Our privacy policy is simple: Your data is your data. We don’t have it, we don’t share it, and we don’t sell it. You’re our customer, not our product.

Data Storage

Data security and ownership is fundamentally important to us at Cynapse. We have designed Numerics to directly connect to integrated services to aggregate, process and present dashboards on your device in real time. We do not have any servers in between and do not replicate your data anywhere, except on your device. This means, we do not have access to your usernames, passwords or KPI data. All your credentials are stored securely in your device keychain.

iCloud Sync

Your data is stored locally on your device or stored securely on Apple’s iCloud if you choose to enable iCloud Sync. With iCloud Sync enabled only you can access your Numerics dashboards, only on devices where you’re signed in to iCloud. iCloud is built with industry-standard security technologies, employs strict policies to protect your information, and is leading the industry by adopting privacy-preserving technologies like end-to-end encryption for your data. We do not have any information about your iCloud ID or its contents.

Information we collect

Personally un-identifiable information: We may collect information that is not considered personally identifiable, such as crash reports. The information collected does not reflect or reference an individually identifiable user. We collect this information to offer better services and to fix bugs and crashes.

Personal information

When you contact us via email or purchase any of the in-app subscriptions, we optionally ask for your personal information including your Name and email. We will only use this personal information to respond to your queries, invite you to beta programs and update you about new versions updates. You can unsubscribe from the updates at anytime by using the Unsubscribe button in the emails or reaching out to us via email. Your personal information will not be shared with others.

Service Account Connections and Data Deletions

Numerics makes direct device to service connections using the official APIs to all the integrated services. Numerics does not have its own servers as a result, it does not save or replicate your data from these integrated services. When you connect Numerics to your account of an integrated service, your data from there continues to be bound by the privacy policy of that integrated service. You can disconnect your account from Numerics and it will no longer fetch metrics from that service. At any point you can revoke access for Numerics in the integrated service’s interface itself. YouTube

When you connect your YouTube account credentials to Numerics, it uses the YouTube API Services. Data from this use adheres to the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access to Numerics by following the steps detailed in the Google Security settings page.

Facebook

When you connect your Facebook account credentials to Numerics, it uses the Facebook API. Data from this use adheres to the Facebook Privacy Policy. You can revoke access to Numerics by following the steps detailed in the ‘Manage your Apps’ section.

Auto Renewal Subscription on App Store

The Numerics Pro Subscription is an in-app subscription that comes with a free trial. Once subscribed, it will automatically renew 24 hours prior to the end of each term and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renewal or modify your subscription at any time from your iTunes account settings, but refunds will not be provided for any used portion of the term. Alternatively, you can use the Manage Subscription in Numerics’ settings. You can use Numerics on unlimited iOS devices with one subscription, just tap on the Restore button from the Numerics Pro subscription screen to activate Pro on another device using the iTunes account that was used for the original purchase.

Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. Our app does not apply to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we discover that we have collected Personal Information from children under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Numerics on tvOS

Numerics on Apple TV works as a viewer for dashboards designed on the iPhone or iPad and synchronized via iCloud Sync. With iCloud Sync enabled you can access your Numerics dashboards only on devices where you’re signed in to iCloud. We do not have any information about your iCloud ID or its contents.
